Programa conjunto de Francia e Italia, para adquirir misiles ASTER y reforzar la defensa aérea en sus buques así como para el ejercito del aire y de tierra. Se notificó el 30 de diciembre al grupo franco-italiano EUROSAM (MBDA & THALES) un contrato para la producción de casi 700 misiles Aster.

Son un minimisil de crucerito, que llega a 32km, y obviamente mucho mas barato.

Pero precisamente por eso, te obligan a acercarte mucho al objetivo, a distancia de artilleria.

No se, para atacar a tierra, prefiero meter un OTO Melara 76mm VULCANO a esto (aunque los proyectiles vulcano tb pican)
Otras naves de cierta importancia, te podran disparar a ti, asi que preferiras no acercarte.
Y un spike para acabar con lanchas a 30km... joder, no se, no lo veo.

No termino de ver el encaje bueno de este misil con estas capacidades.

Misiles de ese segmento los ha habido siempre. Practicamente cada misil anticarro terrestre ha tenido su version nautica equivalente para hacer el mismo video. De hecho, el Hellfire para esas cosas existe hace la intemerata de tiempo. Y tambien carece de sentido. A las distancias que puede cubrir el misil ya le arreas un zurriagazo de artilleria de los buenos por una fraccion del coste.

Una pregunta: ¿se sabe algo nuevo del MdCN de MBDA? La verdad es que desde el "estreno" por Francia en aquel ataque a Siria junto a UK y USA en 2018, poco he leído al respecto.
Y recordemos que en aquella ocasión hubo gatillazo...
