US-based aviation simulation startup Red 6 has lined up the first foreign customer for its visor-based Advanced Tactical Augmented Reality System (ATARS), which allows pilots to fly and manoeuvre in real airplanes against synthetically generated adversaries during training flights.
Red 6 will integrate ATARS on approximately 70 Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Hawk trainer jets, Red 6... ATARS will increase the RSAF's training opportunities because it allows outdoor training without needing real pilots [ni aviones] to act as adversaries.
Red 6 expects to finish integrating ATARS on the first Hawk by late 2022 or early 2023. The integration work includes determining where to place the system's hardware and software on the aircraft and deciding how to direct power to the system. Replicating the process on subsequent Hawks will be easier and take less time.

Y un verdadero uso "multiplicador+abaratador" de la calidad del entrenamiento, si lo programan bien. Esto se lo van a querer poner de serie a todos. Necesita buena chicha informática, pero no tanta. La parte importante es que el visor que superpone "los boogies" sea de alta resolución, amplio campo de visión y sobre todo EXCELENTE SEGUIMIENTO de los movimientos de la cabeza, que si no la liamos.
IMPORTANTE : Y que se ajuste bien a la cabeza para que no se te desenfoque cosa importante teniendo en cuenta que van a saltar y arrastrarse
