El 23 de abril, la USCG recibió oficialmente el USCG Calhoun (WMSL 759) a su flota. La ceremonia, fue celebrada en la Base de la Guardia Costera de Charleston.Desplazamiento 4.500 toneladas, 130 metros de eslora, armamento un sistema Mk-110 de 57 mm, un sistema de armas de corto alcance Phalanx Block 1B de 20 mm, cuatro ametralladoras calibre .50 y dos ametralladoras M240B de 7,62 mm. Se ofrece protección adicional mediante blindaje balístico alrededor del arma principal. Las instalaciones aéreas son capaces de albergar hasta dos helicópteros MH-65C Dolphin MCH o una combinación de un MH-65C Dolphin MCH y dos pequeños sistemas aéreos no tripulados (sUAS).
